Are you thinking of travelling to Dubai for a trip or a property visit? If yes, then read the latest guidelines released by the UAE Authorities. In April 2021, the UAE authorities closed the borders for Indian Visitors due to the second wave of Covid 19. And, now, as the situation is improving, the UAE is again ready to welcome its visitors.
On Saturday, the Government of Dubai announced the updated travel protocols with a set of restrictions. The Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management in Dubai, headed by Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, stated that the new travel protocols would be effective from June 23.
Flights are resuming from India, South Africa, and Nigeria to Dubai from June 23, and if you’re planning to visit, read the latest guidelines mentioned below.
Travel Requirements for Indian Passengers-
The latest rules allow entry under these conditions-
- The passengers with a valid residence visa and complete two doses of a UAE-approved vaccine only will be allowed to enter Dubai.
- As per the new protocols, the four UAE-approved vaccines are – Sinopharm, Pfizer-BioNTech, Sputnik V, and Oxford-AstraZeneca.
3. All the passengers have to present a negative RT-PCR test report examined 48 hours before the departure.
Note- The UAE Government only accepts the QR-coded negative PCR test certificates.
4. All the Passengers have to undergo a rapid PCR test four hours prior to departure to Dubai.
5. After the arrival, the UAE authorities would conduct another RT-PCR in Dubai.
6. After the RT-PCR test, all the Indian Passengers have to go under institutional quarantine and wait until they receive their negative RT-PCR test report. The time duration of the same is 24 hours.
